Situation - besides the common road, also the small foot paths lead to Martrin (foot path of Cayla). The one over the ridge (foot path of Jouvayrac) north of the village, offers a wide view, to Saint Affrique in the south and Réquista in the north.

Present - everything in the village show that the community is agriculture. The common dairy factory produces the Roquefort raw material of sheep milk, the black smiths are retrained to fix agricultural machines.

You will find high quality local products in the bakery of bvb fouaces-flaunes (pan cakes) or in the Caminada, an old, renovated parish that is transformed to an inn, where the traditional kitchen will pamper your taste buds!

It is beside the more recent church that has a tombe in one of its chapels of one of the Commanders (Penaveyre de Sales 15e).
  • The castle: currently inhabited, rebuild in the 15th century, still has most of its inheritance. It can not be visited.
  • In the proximity: the chapel devoted to Saint Clément and the picturesque village Cayla.
