Brousse le Château
 

The village of Brousse, boarding both the Tarn as the Alrance is dominated by the XIIth century castle, that is build on a offshoot of the rocks by the counts of Arpajon.
The village is classified as "Plus beau village de France" (most beautiful village of France). It indeed has much charm.

To visit locally:

The village with its narrow alleys, its old houses, its church and castle. Its fortified XVth century bell tower and chapel at the burial place. The old Roman bridge over the river Alrance.

Parish festival of Brousse le Château: third week in August.
