Musée Toulouse-Lautrec 
The palace of Berbie , the impressive fortress built by the bishops in the XIII-th century, bit by bit transformed into Palace by the bishops who live there, shelters the work of the born painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec in Albi on November 24, 1864. The considerable collection(fund) which keeps(preserves) the museum thanks to the generous donation of the relatives(parents) of the painter allows, from a room to the other one, to follow the evolution of Lautrec's art, since the first drawings of childhood, until the ultimate works. You will see nowhere else the set(group) rich and varied by the youth tables(pictures) of Lautrec, landscapes of Céleyran, studies of figures, horses, or portraits of the members of the family which allow to place the environment(middle) of big aristocracy in which he was born. From 1883, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec settles down in Paris and frequents Cornon's workshop(studio), and the various tables(pictures) presented to the Museum allow to notice its progress. Installed(settled) to Montmartre, it(he) throws(casts) on the shady world of the Mound a glance without concession and paints gates(portals) and scenes of café with live music, cabaret, or brothel, with the same acuteness: numerous major works illustrate this period among which the famous In the lounge(show) of the street of Moulins (1894). Actors and actresses of this time also meet themselves through the portraits that the Museum allows to admire: Jeanne Granier, Berthe Bady, Romain Coolus. ..

Musées de Gaillac
This museum, completely restored in 1995, present on two levels, permanent showrooms where are presented portraits and landscapes of the French School of the XIX-th and XX-th centuries, representative of the common(current) classical authors, romantic, postimpressionists, expressionists and being nabis for the greater part illustrated by regional artists. A room is also dedicated to JJ Pendaries's sculpture, pupil of Mercié and Falguière. Transferred in 1997, in the arched rooms of the Abbey Saint Michel, the museum presents a collection dedicated to the Archaeology, to the navigation on the Tarn, to the Vineyard and to the Wine, to the Religious Art, to the Compagnonnage and to the Arts and Popular Traditions. Museum of Natural History - 2, Place Philadelphe Thomas - 05.63.57.36.31. Bequeathed to the city in 1912 by the Doctor Thomas, the museum presents collections concerning all the domains of the Biology : paleontology, ornithology, oologie, ostéologie, mineralogy... Set(group) presented in a museography of the XIX-th century. A scientific library (XVII-th , XVIII-th and XIX-th) completes collecions.

Musée Goya
The Goya museum is installed(settled) in the former(ancient) episcopal Palace of the XVII-th century. Built according to Hardouin Mansart's plans, it opens on magnificent formal gardens drawn by Ours. It is the first museum of Hispanic art in France later, the Louvre. In the Self-portrait, in the Junta of the Philippines(Filipinos) and in Goya's carvings, adds an impressive collection of works most great masters of the Spanish painting and of the golden century. One finds the paintings Sévillans, Velasquez, Pacheco, Murillo, Ribera, Zurbaran, Alonso Cano, Valdés, Léal, Bayeu, and Picasso, without counting weapons, furniture, monaies and statues that the Museum Possède also. Of Goya the museum presents three major clothes(canvases) as well as the big engraved(burnt) series.

Salle de l'ArchéopoleArchéopole
The Centre of Study and Archaeological Searches(researches) of Castrated proposes to the tourists and the guests of Gourjade's park, a visit of its gallery of exhibition which presents the furniture discovered(found) on the visible gallo-Roman site near. The CERAC is member of the Network of Cultural Resources of the City of Castrate . It(he) offers to the group, school or other, commented visits and initiation into the search(excavation) on reconstituted site. Different experimental activities of archaeology are also possible: size of the flint, work of the clay, etc.... Finally the passionate persons of archaeology will find in the association, multiple activities in the service of the conservation of the patrimony. They will join about fifty volunteers who establish(constitute) the CERAC. Being opened from Monday till Saturday from 14. 00 till 18. 00.

Opened in July, 1990 the local museum of Montrozier's archaeology is an antenna of the Museum of Rouergue, controlled by the Direction(management) of the Museums of France. It(he) occupies former(ancient) buildings(ships) in the heart of a picturesque small village which knew how to protect a remarkable built patrimony. Far from being a motionless structure, Montrozier is a thematic musé with local vocation, which, both or three years, proposes to the guests a new subject, illustrated by numerous objects and documents resulting from four corners(places) of Rouergue, staged with a constant concern of pedagogy. So were successively treated(handled) several exhibitions : Ten years of archaeology in Aveyron ( 1995-97 ), Mégalithisme in Noon - Pyrenees ( 1992 ), Faiths and rites in Rouergues of the previous history in the year thousand ( 97-2000 )...

Musée du Bois
Next to the Bel cabinetmaking works you'll find their would museum, where you will get  a good impression of ancient cabinetmaking tools and techniques. One can also visit their showroom of fine wooden furniture. The museum is in the centre of Coupiac. Entrance is free and normal opening hours.
